The call for PUT grant applications (postdoctoral, start-up, and team grant) opens this Sunday, on 1 March 2020 and closes at 17:00 (Estonian time) on 31 March 2020. The deadline at your institution, however, could also be earlier.

The two main things to keep in mind when it comes to implementing the projects are as follows:
- start-up and team projects have to be implemented in Estonia (whereas postdoctoralprojects have to be implemented abroad);
- an employment contract with a positively evaluated Estonian R&D institution is crucial. Although it is not necessary to have an employment contract with an Estonian R&D institution at the time of submitting the application, it is required that an employment contract will be signed once the project begins.
