At the moment, the situation with corona virus in Estonia is calm and does not need extraordinary measures.

However, the Ministry of Education and Research has recommended the schools to follow information by the Health Board.

- it is advised to pay more attention to the prevention of diseases;

- if possible, it is advised that the parents and students who had their school holiday in the areas affected by the virus, to stay at home for 14 days and monitor their health. Those parents are asked to contact school directly, also for further guidance on the organisation of studies.

People arriving from coronavirus risk areas and exhibiting symptoms of the virus, such as cough, cold and fever, are requested not to go to the emergency rooms (Erakorralise meditsiini osakonda or EMO). Instead, if a person is displaying symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19), they should first either consult their general practitioner or call the family physician hotline 1220 or the emergency number 112.
