The EURAXESS – Researchers in Motion portal has been redesigned and restructured. The revamped EURAXESS central EU portal was launched November 2016 and the revamped EURAXESS Estonia portal was launched in March 2017.
The EURAXESS portal provides researchers with practical information on mobility related issues and up to date jobs and funding offers. EURAXESS has broadened its target group and the new portal makes it easier for researchers, entrepreneurs, universities and businesses to interact with each other. In addition to the redesigned visual and structure, the portal now has more user-friendly functionalities and many new features.
The EURAXESS Estonia national portal provides information about Estonia for incoming researchers (including PhD students), contacts of EURAXESS Estonia Service Centres and news and events for international researchers in Estonia.
Here is a selection of the most important new features:
Broader Target Group: besides the researchers and research institutions/universities, EURAXESS is now also addressing entrepreneurs and businesses;
Profiled Info: the revamped EURAXESS portal proposes registered users with matching collaboration, job and hosting opportunities;
Partnering Tool: registered users are now able to search for both individuals and research organisations/businesses; moreover, all registered users, regardless of whether they are individuals, research organisations/businesses will be able to search for CVs;
Funding Offers: the revamped EURAXESS portal introduces a real funding database, where research funding agencies are invited to enter national research funding opportunities;
Upload CV functionality: at the revamped EURAXESS portal, aside from filling in the EURAXESS CV form, registered researchers can now upload an additional CV;
EURAXESS Service Centres Search Functionality: both registered and unregistered visitors can search for the nearest EURAXESS Centre.
